it usually takes me about 50 frames of SELF photos to get ONE good shot .

i’ve always shyed away from the camera, cuz i just never felt photogenic ! or sexy . .

i’ve been gettin in touch with my inner woman . . .heh .

just another feat to conquer !

Wow. What an impact two hours’ worth of professional hair and makeup help can have!

Also, many years ago (when I didn’t need makeup in order to appear to have cheekbones), an acquaintance who worked as a professional photographer did a two-hour session with me. I loved one of those photos, although my mother insisted that it looked “nothing like me.” Come to think of it, maybe that’s why I loved it. Basically, it looked the way I hoped I looked. 5 years ago
