My goal is to “voice” my love and appreciation to the blessings in my life.
How to cOUNT MY BLESSINGS
How I did it: Just thinking about it, there are times that we want things that are not in our reach or not good for us, anyways you can go all your life feeling sorry for what you don't have or acknowledging that there is so much you could be grateful for.
So one day I wasn't feeling my best (stress, challenges, etc) I decide to grabbed a piece of paper and write down at least 10 good things, 10 blessings in my life...well the list was a lot larger than that and I don't think I finished it.
Lessons & tips: Think about your talents, about the special people in your life. etc
Resources: Piece of paper and a pencil.

My kid’s classmate’s mother passed away suddenly last week. I sometimes think about dead because I’m suffering of depression. But I need to thank somebody to let me alive for my kids.
I am so blessed that our family was spared from the tropical storm “ketsana”
I am blessed that my immediate family were also safe and well. There may be structural damages but we are all ok. I thank the Lord for that.
I am blessed that we are all healthy and happy. Hoping that the coming storm would just pass by and leave our country peacefully.

It’s been hard to see the good part of my life these days.
I am still thankful that my kids are healthy.. everybody seems to be having the flu :(
I am thankful that I got a chance to take a nap and feel energized
I am thankful that my husband is also flu-free despite the weather :)
that i was able to have my check up today and the doc said all is “normal”
that i get to have a lunch date with my husband :) eat takeout burgers and onion rings :)
that we found a nanny to help me and my husband with the kids.. :)
that i have a healthy body.. that i have a good friend/husband.. that my 2 kids are healthy.. that i have time to rest and relax.. that my husband has a job.. that my family can eat 3 meals a day.. that i have a roof on my head.. that i know and still learning about His Word and that me and my husband are saved. :)

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately, and I realized how grateful I am for everything/everyone around me.
I am thankful for/that:
- I live in the U S of A. When I think about how devastatingly awful some places are I really appreciate having grown up on American soil.
- I have food and clean water readily available whenever I need them; not to mention a roof over my head and clothes on my back.
- I’m free to do what I like (within reason).
- Music. Sometimes you are the only thing that truly understands me, Snoop Dogg.
- I go to McCallum High School. Self explanatory.
- Education. Various exceptions may apply… e.g. Algebra II.
- Lenient, loving, liberal parents. Even when we fight over silly things that usually entail me being right.
- My amazing little sister Bel. You are one cool baby, despite the fact that you worship things like pedo bear.
- All of my intelligent, hilarious, bad ass best friends… new and old. You all mean the world to me.
- Avatar: the Last Airbender, my guilty pleasure. Hot damn I love that show.
- Life. Plain and simple.
- I have no teeth/eye problems thus far. No glasses or braces for me.
- Love. My favorite thing. Ever.
- Personality quizzes. I am addicted.
- I went to Kealing for middle school. That place was awesome, if you block seventh grade from your memory.
- Mistakes and constructive criticism. I’ve taken a lot to heart, and learned from almost all of them.
- I’ve survived for 16 years.
I have so much to be happy for.

To be able to born in this world maybe the first blessing.
