How I did it: I knew I wanted to do it back in September. I wanted to wait until my 21st birthday because my momw as 21 when she had me. It means a lot to me to do special things on special days. I only got a little done but I actually got the word "Mom" so it counts. I still have about two more sittings and I'm SO excited. It is going to be beautiful.

Lessons & tips: Be ready for pain. It is a weird type of pain that you have with tattoos. Make sure it's something that you dig on. It doesn't have to mean the world to you, just make sure you think to yourself "Fuck Yeah!"

    i did it! my tattoo is beautiful and it was worth the pain. i can’t wait to get another but i am glad that my first was in honor of my mom. it is a flower with mom written up the stem.
