get a turntable

My wife told me that I couldn’t get a record player if I bought my friend’s used XBox. It was one or the other. And then she gets me a turntable for our anniversary. And an USB turntable to boot. This way I can transfer my favourite vinyl albums to mp3s and then set the player up on the stereo and play my albums in beautiful scratchy mono. I am looking forward to tooling around with the software on my computer, and to many satisfying hours of vinyl action. (That is not as dirty as it sounds out of context…)

only wanted one to play old records that i bought from a thrift shop. waste of space considering that i live in a small townhouse. i should be happy with my ipod :-)
