Look Forward to Visiting Again. 4 months ago

On our holiday to Singapore we went on a day trip across the border to Jahore in Malaysia. We had an interesting trip where we heard about Malaysias history, saw some local traditional dancers and visited the grounds of a Muslim mosque. We look forward to the probability in spending a few days in Kuala Lumpur in future years as we pass through it to visit other countries.

Tour Booked. 4 months ago

We booked a half day tour into Jahore today which should be interesting. So we are now set to complete this goal.

Book Tour When We Arrive. 5 months ago

This is one area where we have had trouble making a booking. We wish to book a tour into Jahore but when we have emailed the two relevant tour companies that we have found on the net they have not responded. One of them has provided a list of hotels in Singapore where you can buy tickets from fo their tours so we will attempt to do this when we arrive. I am looking forward to a tour into a Malaysia even if it is a somewhat brief one.

Target achieved July 2009. 5 months ago

I visitied Kuala Lumpur and stayed in a hotel not far from the Petronas twin towers. The city is quite small and there isn’t too much to do. Helicopters kept flying over the spray the pollution! So, I had a good time but I probably wouldn’t go back.

Tour Found. 9 months ago

We have recently found a day tour for when we go to Singapore which will take us into Malaysia for the day. So we are hoping to do this when we get to Singapore.

Fingers Crossed. 12 months ago

In July we are booked in to visit Singapore. I am hoping that we will be able to take a tour into Jahore Baru (sorry if this is a spelling mistake) I am trying to find out at the moment if the day tour we want to go on will take infants. Fingers crossed. If it does not work out we will go there in future years.

I’ve been there. It’s right next to Singapore. Depending on which part of Malaysia you go, it’s basically the Mexico of Singapore.

Travelling Malaysia was really nice 18 months ago

We went there in autumn 2006 for a period of 4 weeks. Travelled both the peninsula and Borneo by coaches was easy and cheap. Our highlight of the trip was the Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center in Sepilok and jungle of Borneo.

I Love Malaysia 22 months ago

I’ve been to Kota Kinabalu once and loved it, although I didn’t have time to do anything except visit one of the islands (Palua Sapi). However, I’m going to Kuala Lumpur and then back to Kota Kinabalu for about two weeks in February. Any recommendations for things to do?

Also, I would really love to climb Mt. Kinabalu, but the only tour group I’ve been able to book a trip with is charging $370 USD. Can anyone tell me if it’s worth that much money or not? I really had my heart set on climbing this mountain… :(
