find love with someone who will never hurt me with their love.... is this possible?

This goal was set after I had broken up with R. I was very hurt, a wounded and very unhappy woman.

But we remained friends and in many ways she nursed me through that hurt.

And now (I’m happy to say) we are back together again.

We are different. Our relationship is different. And I have to believe that she will never hurt me again with her love. I do know that she loves me. That I love her. And that we really want to make this work, unconventional as it may be.

I know it is possible. And good friends around me are restoring my faith in myself and in healthy relationships.
