I drank heavily and played Dominos with my cuban friends last night. It didn’t look like it at the time, but I assure you that a lot of Spanish was being learned on my part…

I have completed Basic Spanish I and II at college. I plan to sign up on Intermediate Level for more learning and practice. Otherwise, I hope to get more interaction once I get back to Miami. There is plenty of potential to practice there. After my Spanish class I’d love to visit a South American country and practice my spanish there.
Necessity and immersion are really the two best ways to learn any language, in my opinion.
My final goal is to have a working proficiency. If I can carry on a conversation (even if it’s choppy), then I will consider this a success.
I have spent all my life speaking Spanish half heartedly and I feel like it is knowing only half a song.
