Do at least one gig/performance per month (beginning in March of 05)

I performed again at R Spot this month…I’m kind of on a “catch as catch can” artist track…I guess that’s what you’d call “artist development.” Thus far, for the last few months anyway, I’ve done open mic performances there—it’s quite comfortable, and comforting.

All good things must…move—and so, R Spot is indeed moving in July. I’ll have to find a new spot. Such is the beauty of life. Can’t rest easy in the comfort zone(s), you know. Must keep on blooming. Such is the beauty of (our nature).

Yes, performed again. At open mic, as in April. What was lovely this time, is people are beginning to remember me and I always get positive feedback regarding the resonance of my little bird voice.

Owner of the venue got my full contact number. Said, “Wish I’d had your number! I producer called the other day and they need a singer, ASAP—the previous one didn’t show!”

Well, now he has it. I think his wife had taken it before, but now it’s set in stone…it’s in the venue’s rolodex.

I performed in April. Short notice, and I felt the performance was okay, but not at all polished. I hadn’t prepared, and I just showed up. Rested on my laurels a bit. Still, it’s nice to get in the habit of knowing Ill have at least one performance per month.

Can be a lifelong habit, I’m certain of it.

So far, I’ve had three performances this month! Still, no cheating. I’ve yet to book for next month.
