kmom2468Cheers help

Both in the receiving, but even more in the giving. I have noticed that since I started my goal to give 1000 cheers, I have be more in tune with my own personal goals. Which has motivated me to do something about them. 3 years ago

kmom2468Doing it

Little by little, as I get stronger. Also, added some goals that I have been wanting to do, but hadn’t really committed to. Now I’m committed :-) 3 years ago

kmom2468Renewing commitments

Life has revolved around the Army and Deployment. Now that my soldier is where he’s going to be for a while, I can get some pieces of my life back together. True, I will be going in for surgery soon, but that doesn’t mean I can’t do ANYTHING. I need to take advantage of my time off and capitalize on whatever goodness this surgery brings. 3 years ago

kmom2468gave up on the "feeder pig" or two

Career is blazing along (having a blast!), and there is already a lot on my plate. I think this year will be devoted to progressings and getting better at what I am already doing/trying to do. So, I’ll concentrate on chickens and NOT add pigs. I’ll concentrate on becoming an Army Wife and not change too much about my own job (it’s already running full steam ahead). I’ll continue to work on being healthier and losing weight. And I will try to get my act together and pay down some of that ugly debt! Won’t try for too many new things – just doing what I do, but better. 4 years ago

So now that I know more about myself, I should “get to it” and really work on my goals and make this the most productive and rewarding year yet!

kmom2468The list keeps growing...

I’m at an all time high of 33 things on my list. Probably a good thing that there is a limit or I would just spend all my time making a longer and longer list and not actually doing any of the things on the list! 4 years ago

kmom2468Trying to be motivated

I did a few things, but the cold, dark chill of winter just makes me want to hide under the covers, eat chocolate and hibernate!

Done
  • “100 things that make me happy” list
  • cleaned the chicken coop
Worked on
  • Design my own house
  • Quote collection
  • Becoming debt free
  • Losing weight 4 years ago

kmom2468Finished off a few goals

Done with raising chickens, as a goal – now it’s just an on-going part of life.

Done promoting my blog – Mom and a few friends follow it, so that’s good enough for me.

Put several more items on the “100 things that make me happy” list.

Started shredding paper/bills to make bedding for the chickens (for when I clean out their coop).

Formally added the goal to finish Designing My Dream Home. 4 years ago

kmom2468Now, to apply this to my home life

I am really good at this at work. Set goals, list steps to get there, do steps, cross goal off the list. Not so good about doing this at home. Time to take care of me and my life, not just my career. 4 years ago

kmom2468Lots to do

So little time. Even if I live to 100, I will never reach all of the things I want to do. So I start small, with 28, 29, 30 things or so, and I work diligently at them – and as I knock them off, one by one, I add another one to work on. Some are long term (get my pilot’s license; plant a forest), some are short term, some are in between. But sometimes I get sidetracked and forget that I have much to do and experience, and NOW is the time. 4 years ago
