read a game of thrones

I’ve started A Feast For Crows. Train journeys and reading sessions just seem to vanish. I’m sad that it only covers half the characters, though—can’t wait to lay my hands on the next volume.

This series has been absolutely fantastic- much more realistic and gritty than any other fantasy series I’ve read. A Feast For Crows was really disappointing, but I have high hopes for the next book, and the first 3 books were amazing. Let’s hope the next gets back to GRRM’s winning ways!

I just read that HBO has bought the rights to Game of Thrones and might make each book an entire season of shows, which would be great. They’re the only network (or movie studio, for that matter) that could possibly do the series justice.
