I saw the most amazing tigress while on jeep safari in Ranthambore Park, India.
She was 5+ feet away from the open jeep I was in. Every nerve in my body was buzzing when i saw her. Incredible!
I hope this can happen

There are only about 5,000 tigers left in the wild, so my chances of ever coming across one are slim, but none-the-less I would like to see this spectacular animal in it’s natural habitat (from afar of course) before I lose that chance forever.

This January i visited India and went to Ranthanbore where a group of us went on a game drive with the hope of seeing a tiger in the wild. One of the group spotted, fleetingly, a shape in the distance and when we’d reversed back it was indeed a tiger. The next 10mins or so culminated in the tiger(ess) walking across in front of our vehicle on the trail of a deer. I hope to go back!
