one of the more useful “things” I’ve had on my list. I leave it up here because, frankly, it has not yet become a habit. This is something I plan to give a higher priority in the next few months.

Appreciation is in short supply almost everywhere (other than 43T!) Those little notes do wonders for all my relationships.

of the mourning process has been the thank-you notes. I’ve written a lot of notes of appreciation lately, and noticed how much it has helped me to write them.

I think I shall add this to my list of treats to give myself. I know that appreciation notes sound like a chore, but what I am learning is that they are treats, too.

Worth doing!

This is one those goals that I loved doing. I’m going to keep it up. I have been sending beautiful notes of appreciation to the people who are important to me and it means so much to them. The simple things! It’s just the simple things that can make life so beautiful sometimes.

of letting people know I appreciate them, and of thanking people in my life. For the next month, I’m going to hand-write a minimum of two letters of appreciation each week and send them by (gasp!) snail mail.

I know a woman who does this on a regular basis and it is a very attractive habit. I would like to “try it on” for a month and see how it goes.
