I just finished doing this — baked two cakes actually, not just one — and I had to record it here, because holy wow, the cakes are delicious! I used 1/4 cup less sugar than the recipe called for, because my boyfriend doesn’t like sweet things, and that worked out well because the cake seems much richer and chocolaty-er this way. It tastes so much better than I expected. I am very very pleased.
