rgioc needs to get rid of the jelly belly
We drove past the mini cooper place again today, I want a cream one so badly, sigh. If I win a certain amount of money I will. Ha, ha

As much as I would love to own a mini cooper… I sort of am changing my mind and want to own an Austin Healy Frog-eye Sprite… ;-P
I love my mini ! I got her in November and it was definatly worth all the waiting. I got the S w/ Navigation (which has really come in handy!) It is the best car I’ve ever had. Very well built and sooo much fun to drive.
Norbert’s my 92 reg Cooper. He is British Racing Green with Minilite alloys, go faster stripes and a rack of 4 spots. I have blinged him up slightly since getting him with bonnet straps and Cooper signatures on the striped but otherwise he is fairly stock. Plans for this year is some major bodywork overhauling and next year to vamp the interior. Things regularly fall off or go bang and I wish I had a new car…right up til I start the engine again! Even my generally practical fiancee is so nuts about him he refuses to sell him ‘cos he’s family’! Theres a way you cant help but love them particuarly when you beat some wideboy in a souped up racer off the lights, take it veering round a roundabout then get loud on the twisties! God I love my car!!!
Lunabob is finding the light
. . . and life with Oscar is better than ever. It’s an amazing thing to make a dream come true for yourself and have a physical manifestation of that dream to look at (and ride in) every day! Sometimes I am still amazed at what I am capable of. Cheers to anyone considering making their own dream come true!
Wow, it’s been a while since I visited, because I could have marked this off my list long ago. I finally got my MINI in Dec. 05, three days before Christmas. It was not without a bit of heartbreak, though. The purple haze MINI I’d ordered originally (LouLou) was damaged in transit earlier in the fall, so I never got to see her. LouLou was an 05, but her replacement would be an 06 and they wouldn’t let me have the same color options (wasn’t sure about that “silver” roof at the time). But all’s well that ends well, more or less. The Screaming Blue Mini is a hyper blue, black roof & bonnet stripes, going strong at 14K miles, and I love love love my car.
I just bought a Cooper last Friday! It’s black, with two white race stripes on the hood and a white roof and wheels. Since I first saw one, I have wanted to own my own little MINI….and let me tell you, it is SO COOL!!! Once you get one, all the other MINI drivers wave at you on the road. It’s the best feeling…my last car was a 1981 Chevy Malibu, and “upgrade” is an understatement. The coolest thing? Not only was it my first financed vehicle, but I can actually afford it! Go me!
