Its a start!
Im currently living in Espana! We, (My family and I.), Moved here six years ago. I spent four of those years in a Spanish high school, which wasnt great…
Anyway, the past two years ive been working at an English shop in town. Since most of our clients are English, and im not using my Spanish very much anymore, ive forgotten most of what i knew.
Im now taking night classes agian, starting next Monday. The teacher put me into the advanced class after talking with me in Spanish. Most of what he said i understood, its amazinging how quickly it all comes back to you.
Anyway, its a start. Desearle suerte!

I had a dream last night where someone spoke to me in Spanish. I didn’t completely understand it, but it was definitely spanish. I wonder if it counts if my subconscious is doing the brushing.

Mikeymike (my bf) and I want to go to Spain and South America some time in our lives, so I am going to be the interpreter since I had five years of Spanish in high school…now it’s just up to me to brush it up and be fancy :)

Even though my communication wasn’t great in Guatemala, I understood a lot more after one week than I did before I got there. 4 years of half-assed Spanish study has definitely seeped out over time but I still remember the basics and that was helpful in brushing up. The new goal is to be bilingual.

I lived in Spain for 3 years as a child and spoke perfect Castillan. Over time, I have lost that fluency and most of my knowledge of Spanish. I don’t think it would be tough to pick it back up. It is just a matter of taking the time to do so.

I am working toward having an exchange student from Spain live with my family for 1 month this summer. A perfect opportunity to brush up on my spanish.
