I made chicken soup from scratch for lunch yesterday, and the kids and I had it for dinner too. Made grilled tuna sandwiches for lunch today along with peaches, carrot sticks and a few grapes. Packed a big ol’ dinner for DH to take to work and also baked up some banana bread . . . 2 days down 28 to go.

Wow, this is a big goal. We eat out way too much. This would contribute to many of my other goals too: be a better wife . . . be a better mother . . . lose weight (because, in theory, I will be cooking healthier) . . .keep kosher (do you know how hard it is to find a kosher resturant?) . . . stop drinking soda (fast food always seems to come with pop) . . .get out of debt (less money on eating out, more money to pay down debt) . . . and on and on and on.

It’s amazing how one seemingly small thing (like eating out often) can affect so may areas of your life.
