go on a dathun

right after graduation, back in the day when I thought I’d see some of my medical bills paid by State Farm due to a car accident I was in that wasn’t my fault. But seeing as that has only pushed me further into debt, I don’t currently have the time or money to do this. I am planning another retreat this summer, though, albeit a much shorter one.

has 2 cool things coming up I would love to do. I am soooo tempted. Although I really can’t take off the time right now to do a dathun, there’s another 3-day program coming up with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche this summer… Oh, cursed earthly desires! :) What do you do about the craving to learn, to evolve spiritually, and to be with other buddhists? It’s all a form of materialism, isn’t it?
