Make an appointment for a physical

Still haven’t done this. I’ve had so many personal things lately…tooth pulled, expenses w/ the house, vacation, etc. It’s just not be made a priority. Yet.

I’ve got some dental work to get done and a full calendar in June.

This will be a July to-do.

Did a health screening at work recently. I am in generally good health, although need to focus on losing a bit of weight, exercise & some general fitness. When I get busy, exercise is one of the first things to fall by the wayside.

The appointment is for tomorrow.

it’s not exactly the exam, but at least I have an appointment on Tuesday to see my doctor about a number of health issues of concern. It’s a step in the right direction.

I figured out a place to go. It’s very close to work. I can ask for a female resident. Residents are good for this sort of thing. They are still considerate. They tend to be concerned about not causing pain. And there’s a built in anonymity.

Next step is to make an appointment.

I’ve laid out the list of local doctors I’m considering. Need to grab the calendar & make this happen.

I haven’t had a physical in years. It needs to be done. I always conveniently forget to do anything about it. Then I don’t have to think about all the post-traumatic shit the anticipation of the exam, not to mention the actual exam, stirs up inside. blech.

I suppose the first step is to start getting recommendations & see if I can locate a health care practitioner who is not too terrifying.

Have a lot going on at work (my people out, myself out, etc) until mid-June. Then I’ll set my appt after things have calmed down a bit in the office.

I’m running full gear this week @ work but will be calling to schedule this appt next week.

A co-worker has just started seeing her & was pleased. I will probably decide to start seeing her as well. Still checking w/ others to see who they like & why.
