The secret to life: going to the library. Just after a class ends, I go to the library and start working on the next class’ assignments. I even finished a midterm essay a week ahead of time. The system works.

I’ve never really had to try with education before. But now I’m at university I find it difficult to manage my time and to write essays. It’s not that I find the work difficult (well, I do, but not that difficult), but that I find concentration difficult, can’t organise my thoughts properly, and find motivation difficult.
One of my other goals – learn mindmaps – is a step towards this, as it has been recommended that they might help me organise my thoughts.
Next term I aim to get my written work done with more time to spare, so I can submit my work early for tutor comment and improvement (and not sit up the night before, wired to the gills on caffeine etc, and hand my work in barely proofread with minutes to spare!)
