    Worth doing!

    GM PLACE VANCOUVER,
    JUNE 20 , 2007
The greatest concert of all time!

ROGER WATERS was absolutely amazing! My dad and I are HUGE FANS and he was doing Dark Side of the Moon, not my favorite but i still love it. The Wall is my favorite. So we got there and some guy offered me and sasha better seats and they were pretty sweet. The were about 300$ seats and you could see him and the stage about 40 feet away but from the 90 degree angle. We brought binoculars, i took a thousand pictures and my carmea did right friggen before the spectrum came out!!!! It looked so amazing too! They had the inflatable pig [TIMELESS], the astronaut, camera’s and pictures and everything was just spectucular and the ligh hsoe was pretty wicked cause they changed constantly and a screen had him being filmed and hes still a babe! Anther screen was on with soe music videos. i wasnt high but EVERYBODY else was. The guy sitting next to us offered sasha and me pot. SHes ten! M dad and I owuld have if my mum and sister werent there but it was so awesome to see him so excited cause he was all jumpy and running around with the biggest puppy dog look in his eyes. My sister was too young for it. but in the end we cheered soooo loud for him to back and he played for another 2 hours like all my FAVORITES!! Fire stuff blew up and just amazing, audience was huge. By far the best concert Ill ever go to in my life! Im a huge pink floyd fan!!!

Well, who wouldn’t like to see them in concert? The truth is, achievement of this goal depends only on whether they decide to play again or not. And another truth is, they will not. And hell knows if I would like them to. Many great bands disintegrated and then reunited after a few years, but what they produced afterwards turned out not to live up to anyone’s expectations. I guess the same thing would happen to Pink Floyd. Look at the newest albums of David Gilmour (the one with a blue cover) and Roger Waters (the unfortunate Ca Ira). DG’s latest work was a nice record, but nothing more, nothing that would turn upside down anyone’s way of perception. RW’s opera was even worse, a dull performance that everyone wanted to forget as quick as possible.

I am not underestimating the abilities of either musician. Pink Floyd used to be one of the most important bands in the 20th century’s music. Their “Time” (from “The Dark Side…”, which changed my life), “The Wall” (as well as the Alan Parker’s movie… a thunderstrike) or Roger’s “The Pros and Cons of Hitch-Hiking” are, in my opinion, the best records ever made. But they can’t do anything like this anymore. They have changed too much.

After listening to pink floyd for a while, it was a dream come true. I think everyone should go to a Pink floyd show atleast once in their lifetime. the vibe was incredible.

Being my favorite band, I would absolutly LOVE to see them live before they disban or die… After the passing of Syd, it’s gotten me really worried about what would happen if David Gilmour or one of them died and Pink Floyd left tours forever?? I think I would die too!! The hardest part is that all the concerts seem to be in England… Oi.
