I have a shower connection that needs to be fixed. I have to remove the ring and take out the old fitting and put in a new one.
Only taking out the ring is impossible. I don’t know how you’re supposed to do it anyway!
It’s so hard to turn on the shower by pulling that metal thing with the pair of pliars. I’m sure i’d take a lot more showers if I didn’t have to pull on that thing.
But that doesn’t motivate me at all to do it. Because to heat the pipes and loosen the connections I have to turn off the water and then I have to drain the pipes. draining them is nearly impossible below the shower. I need a valve down there!

I need to do something about the plumbing that i haven’t worked on for two years or more, the handle to the shower needs to be pushed into the bathroom further.
But I need to do that when we have a car at home so I can rush to the store if i mess up.
i don’t want to leave us with no water.

I told the boys the other day that all that needs to be done in there with the tap is to take the middle thing out and replace it. I’ve got the replacement, even, I think.
However, instead of volunteering to do it, they both suggested I jsut DO it!
Ha. No offers of help or anything. I told them the reason i don’t do it is because I’m afraid of wrecking it.
Sheesh, I tore the whole bathroom apart and did 57 copper joints, you’d think I could handle this…what’s with this procrastinating, anyway?

I’ve had this hole in the wall for a few years now. i don’t think I’m every going to fix this tap. i think i should ask someone else to fix it. I think it’s jsut a matter of changing the central part of the Moen tap. I even have the replacement part!

I scavenged at the dump and found a whole lot of long boards…someone must have taken apart an old shed or something. Anyway, I brought about a dozen of them home. I’ve decided to make long windowboxes for the sunroom windows as well as the north east side of the house.
I did put geraniums in all the other window boxes already. Red ones. They look great.

To do this part, I just need to loosen the copper joints with the blow torch. I have to find it and bring it over to the area so I can do that easily. It’s only a five minute job. I’ve just put it off for the longest time!

Some of the grouting hasn’t been done yet. That’s because I need to put some drywall on those places first, a strip down the side of the doorway.
I did take the grout inside and have it in the bathroom so I’ll remember to do that.
