WOW! This week I planned all my eating for the day.
I ended up saving $200! OMG! That means I could buy a couple of things I wanted and not have to put it on my credit card.
I am now heading into week 2.

I budget $350 a fortnight to spend on anything I like. I end up spend most of it on food. Urgh. BAD! Next fortnight is budget controlled eating.

I am back on track with not spending a lot on food. Trying to save $100 a fortnight and put it into my savings instead.

Started spending stupid amounts on food again.
Will put a stop to it now!

I have nearly achieved this goal. I have cut back my lunches to less than $10 and funnily enough I have money left over now to go towards my debts. Its great! Another two months and I will consider this goal achieved.

I have done really well on this goal. For the last month I have spent on average $10 a day on food. Its helped keep my weight down and allowed me to stay on budget – often ahead of it for the next week.
YAY!

I have done well on the front!
I have cut my daily spending from $20+ down to $10-12 per day. Usually a boost juice, some fruit and sushi and I am content!
Sheesh – I save SO much not buying pastry, or store bought coffee!
For the first time I actually have money left over at the end of the week!
I have to work on my home shopping too. I currently budget $100 for 2 weeks. I think I can reduce this further. I know more about what works and doesnt work for me and I am becoming more thrifty with specials and working out how to use them to my advantage (thanks to cooking magazines).

I have done well with this! I am spending less than $10 a day on food – compared to the $20+ I use to spend. :)

This week I am going to keep a diary of all the money I spend on food from Monday 12/01/2009 – 19/01/2009.
How much money DO I actually spend? What is it spent on?
If I dont know whats wrong, I can’t fix the problem! :D

Ok, I have not really taken this goal serious at all and now I have to if I am ever to get ahead on my debt and lose weight.
I went out today and rather than spending the usual $100, I spent about $40. I refused desserts (which are making me fatter anyway) and I took the cheaper lunch (under $10 rather than under $40).
