Have a drink named after me

It doesn’t even have to be an alcoholic drink. A smoothie would be passable.

My ex boyfriend’s bar sells Gabrielas now. They’re something made of something and a cherry and it’s supposed to glow under dark light. I’ve never seen it but I hope people are asking for it.

It’s called the Chuqbacca, basically a pint of Guinness through a coffee stirrer in under a minute. Seriously, try it.

My friend invented this drink and named it after me because she knew I had this item on the list. I think that’s kind of cheating, but I’ll take what I can get. (See my “drink 100 drinks” goal for details on the Q.)

The local TGIFridays Restaurant named a drink after me 10 years ago because I would go there and drink Margarita’s very often with my friends. Since I had red hair.. they poured red gredadine around the top and called it “The Gregorita”. I went there a year ago and one of the old bartenders was there and asked me if I wanted “The Gregorita”... how could I turn that down? (its not the one in the photo.. but it’s a good photo!)

This is unfortunately one of those things that has to be instigated by others.

More unfortunately, I have a feeling it’s going to end up being an alcoholic drink that contains a fair amount of ranch dressing.

Get a reputation for drinking (and making) crazy concoctions, and it follows naturally that at least one will be good enough to remember.
