As a former resident of the Marina, I have learned and perfected the ancient olympic art of pigeon kicking.
Maybe you have seen me and my works on Chestnut Street?
Gojiro, you can learn. Shorten your cadence upon approach, lower your gaze and look away. Plan your approach. And then kick OVER the pigeon. If properly placed, said aforementioned target will fly into your foot and then your foot will change the trajectory of the pigeon to that which you desire.
Small children will cheer at your efforts.
Lives will be saved.
Remember, what you do, you do for the good of all mankind.

I really like this photo… titled “Don’t Feed The Pigeons”.
Although I don’t dislike these birds.. I think it is healthy for them to have a little fear once in a while…
I have yet to see one nearby.. they must be avoiding me.

i swear when i see pigeons on the freeway, they’ve gotten to the point of being so gutsy, it’s suicidal.

I was on a trip the other day to another camp. And I was driving along when there where some Camels in the road. Now this didn’t bother me that bad. I honked the horn a time or two thinking it would hussle out of the way. You can honk the horn at cows and they move or at least get clue and start looking for an exit. But not this Camel. He turns and starts walking down the middle of the lane! Then he gets the audacity to turn his head back and make that weird groaning sound that they make. He didn’t bother moving out of the way. Its not like he didn’t have the entire desert on either side of him. Dang Camels! NO RESPECT for people. I think that they have teamed up with the Pigeons!! I must look into this matter more. If the facts do in fact show that the Camels and the Pigeons have teamed up, then god help the camels near me!

As some of you may have noticed in my other entry’s, I’m spending part of my time deployed. Needless to say, that as much as I want to reteach pigeons, there are none in my local area. Hopefully upon my arrival home I will be able to start this goal immediately and with zest!

That is exactly what this is… blatant disregard for the law.
Do you see now why I have this goal? At what point is your threshold? What has to happen for you to do something?

In this photo you will see another shining example of why we need to teach these pigeons to relearn fear… Although I don’t hate the creatures.. I do think they need a dose of fear. A little fear is a good thing in life.
This all started from me watching the Seinfeld (6th episode – 9th season) where the pigeons broke the “deal” with humans. George accidentally runs a pigeon over because it didn’t move out of the road making him look horrible to his new girlfriend.
peace out – eat trout!
