travel the US

I forgot New York…I have been there six times and counting!

I have been to:
Maine twice
Colorado once
Florida twice
Georgia Frequently
New Hampshire four
Pennsylvania Live there
Maryland Lived there
Virginia Born there (frequently)
West Virginia frequently
Vermont once

I’ll be popping into the bank on Monday to buy a travel card and secure the exchange rate at the moment before it drops back down again!

I’m devastated that the maid of the mist stops running about a week before we will be there .. but apparently there alot of cool tours we can do around the falls .. hopefully there will be something I can do while wearing a poncho!

I did have to cut down my trip from 5 weeks to 3 weeks – but it’s for a fantastic new job that I just scored, and I will take another two weeks off in March to go to Thailand.
I’m terribly excited! I have to write my “Overseas Checklist” so that I have everything I need like adapters for my chargers, replacement passport photos if I lose my passport .. and a list of where all the Australian Embassies are.

In 76 days I’ll be on my way!! From Australia to Fiji .. accomodation for 4 days .. flights from Fiji to LA, LA to Vegas, and accomodation at the Luxor for 7 days! That’s all booked and paid for .. then the other four weeks we will go where the wind takes us!! The rough idea is below ..

Road Trip from New Orleans to Dallas
Dallas 2 days
San Francisco 2 days
Los Angeles 4 days
... then home!

Want to travel there a.s.a.p!

Things seem to pop up all the time and it’s making me mad. Passport has gone back another week .. and we’re probably going to have to get another credit card each to make it! I desperately need this holiday though – and will do whatever I need to do to get it!
My boyfriend’s sister will be in New York at the same time so there’s a friendly face that I will definately meet up with, very excited.

Passport photos taken – and forms all filled in, now I just have to scrounge up the $200 I need to submit them! I’ve gone over the budget again—it looks like it will be 8th May.
