I do this now! I didn’t realise how much it would enhance the website!

This is most defintiley worth maing the effort for – once writing entries becomes a habit, your goals become much easier to achieve and you will find yourself doing far more towards them.

    :)

I have been posting more and more entries. It feels good. I now have lots of goals on my list that will be best achieved and most satisfying if regularly documented. I suppose 43 things can serve as a journal of achievement, not just a mere listing device. This is something I didn’t think about when I first joined.

Nest thing I want to start personalising my entries more. Adding pictures for example.

Anything I’m not posting entries about means I’m not serious about. ‘Nuff said.

I will not post for posting’s sake. For example, the “give away my clothes” goal does not need any entry but the one that says “DONE!”

I find that I enjoy posting when moved to do so. I am calling this complete because it’s how I feel. When I added it originally there were no entries at all.

There are a couple more entries that I can write but there are some goals that are too far in the future for me to write about intelligently. And that’s the way it is.

I was very much inspired to set up my lists here at 43Things, places et al. I did it quickly and I could because I already kept lists of my own so it was just a matter of transferring data. I even had a list of my “wins”. As you can see I have a love of lists.

I was a little dismayed to see that everything I have captured as a “win” here has been marked completed in October 2006. How wrong is that? Like I did 80 some odd things in one month.

At first I thought that maybe I shouldn’t have listed them. Maybe it starts “from this day forward” or something. But then I decided that it can’t be set up that way. This site is set up so that people trying to accomplish a particular goal can find others who have already reached it and learn from them or their mistakes.

So I guess I’ll just figure that October 2006 was my implementation date and the data is a little skewed. I hate data integrity issues.

Anyway. Because I implemented so quickly I did not write any entries. That changes right…NOW!

Another duh. The entries are helpful in acknowledging just what has been done already and what is yet to be done.

Finished! At least for all the goals I started with & have since added. It’ll be easy to keep on top of the new ones now.

and done. As if anybody cares. Helped me weed out some less interesting goals.

    Well 3 years ago

Nearly enough done. Just two goals without entries, and they are either something I’m working on other places, or I want to leave for a while…
