Damn! I’ve never tried really hard to learn this stuff, but this is gonna change.
How to understand Calculus
How I did it: I took 1 year of IB Mathematics at my high school then i took the AP Calculus AB exam and got a 4! I'm taking my second year of IB Mathematics right now and its a good experience.
Lessons & tips: Take some extra time to understand the material that's being given to you, don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand.
Resources: My calculator helped me a lot, TI-89 Titanium.

On a lazy Sunday like this one it just seems crazy! I am going to keep this one around though – just to make a point of refreshing my skills sometime.
It has been years since I’ve used it though, and I sort of want to dust off those books and do a few problems from each chapter just so I don’t forget it forever. I worked so hard at this the first time, and it would seem a shame to lose it.
I started calc at Cal Poly and didnt make it through intermediate integrals. I want to finish calculus, understand calculus, and hopefully teach math someday.
ounces is hungry, but nothing looks good to eat
well, i won;t start calling myself a mathematician, but i at least passed my math class. that’s good enough for me!!
After studying applied math and physics for a couple of years, I can finally say that I understand calculus. It probably means I’m a geek, but I don’t care. Math is cool.
Not that I’ll really use it. But it was one subject that I never really got the grasp of that that bothered me.
The whole time I was growing up, I thought that math was stupid. Math was always the subject that there was no use for, so I didn’t pay attention. Now I’m studying engineering in college, and calculus seems like the coolest thing to me. All of a sudden math is not only useful, but interesting and amazing. I want to understand more, becuase the applications of math are endless.
