make resin jewelry

let’s just say i learned alot.

ok. so my first attempt at this is curing as we speak. i put a lot of effort into decorating them. i embedded some fun stuff and glitter and other stuff. i really hope they turn out good. i followed the directions perfectly and i’m looking forward to the finished result.

hopefully i’ll have pics by tomorrow.

i’m ready to go. today is the first day i will try this out. wish me luck.

well, i was looking for a kinda of tutorial that wasn’t a video. i searched for weeks online and couldn’t find a simple answer to a simple question. the question:

which is better to use for resin embedding for jewelry, polyester or epoxy?

and i couldn’t find the answer. i even asked some people on etsy who sold resin jewelry this question. it’s been over a week and still no response. then i found an entry here. it told me everything i needed to know. and now i’m here. how funny is that?

I have watched a few videos on this and am intrigued by it. I would like to know more about making resin jeewelry

I am still struggling with air bubbles and finishing. I am thinking about using a casting vacuum to release the bubbles. I wonder if anyone else has any ideas along the same lines.
