go to an NHL game

I went to one of the Bruins’ playoff games this year against the Habs.

It was amazing. I was never really interested in Hockey until I went to see this game. The crowd was insane! It was the most exciting sporting event I’ve ever gone to, and I can’t wait to go to another NHL game!

went to the second game of this at the O2 last night, shame it was the ducks vs kings, even more of a shame the kings didn’t bother to turn up and lost 4-1, but would definately be up for it again (ideally seeing the ducks, flyers or devils losing or penguins winning)

My dad took me to hockey games all the time when I was little, and when we couldn’t go to the game, we’d sit in a sports bar watching it from beginning to end. Life started when the season began, still does.

i come from a state that has two NHL teams but i never knew anything about hockey. then, i moved way up north. then, i met the dude, who’s in love with all things hockey. recently, we’ve started going to the home games of our local AHL team. i love it!

my dad took me to my first game when i was 14 (& i’m still 14), and i went to 4 games in all that season. (‘05-’06) my dad is a red wings fan, so naturally i developed that trait, and i love watching them play. fights are so much better when youre actually there.

it’s like watching them on tv only better

If you have never been to an NHL game it will help a lot to watch in on TV first. Try to get an idea for the “flow” of the game and where the puck is and how the play moves around. This will make things much easier to follow when you’re there in person. Also, go early. It’s a lot of fun to watch the teams warm up before the game. And lastly, pick a team, and become a fan. Find out who their rivals are, and go to rivalry games. And have fun with opposing fans. If you want to know more just ask…..
