Not including my own children, I’ve made many infants smile and laugh. It’s so wonderful.

Making faces at them in line at the grocery store when their mom isn’t looking is the best way. Unless they start to cry instead.

with a six-week-old baby tonight as I was printing my headshots… or rather, having them printed.
She was so delighted to have me speak to her. I mostly told her to be kind to her Mommy. (I suspected a VERY exhausted Mommy to say the least.)
She not only smiled, she giggled and laughed out loud, too. My kinda baby girl!!
This is really to remind me that I should go around to my brothers and hang out with his kids. I’ll try and meet up at the weekend.

I literally can not help myself when I see an adorable baby. I just have to connect.
It just struck me that all the adult people I encounter have that adorable baby inside…. interesting.

Just seeing a baby giggle at something I’ve done makes me so proud that I can make someone so happy.

and there were none in sight! So instead, I prayed for the people there, in the same store where I was… and the people in the cars outside, I prayed for each individually as they passed, I prayed for the gentleman on a work truck, the man with the shirt that said something like “Bakersfield Light Works” and I thought, “How odd to be labeled as your place of business.”
I wondered what my shirt would say on it… then I giggled to myself… kept praying… moved along… and hope I find a baby the next time I am out-and-about.
