Setup an Animal Rescue Shelter

I am looking for a house in the country and want to find out about how I could fund caring for animals that need homes.

I want to start a kitty rescue shelter. There are so many abandoned pregnant cats or a new litter of kittens that are even abandoned by there mothers. I want to start a shelter in my home where i can nurse them back to health and take care of them until they are available for adoption. how do i go about doing this?

I would love to set up a rescue shelter for dogs. We have so many that are strays. And living in the Heat of Arizona, i’m sure many die. I would like to know what i need to do, if there are any grants available, and location for land. Thank you!

i would love to set up an animal shelter as animals are such a big part of this world . lot of pepoele say dont have to go to the zoo just go to saltys house.

My aim is to expand the rabbit accomadation as it is soon going to be too small as the baby rabbits who will now be approaching four months of age. They are all males and live together harmoniously, no fighting or territorial behavior as of yet. However i know that this will occur at some point so do need to have a plan in place for when this happens. I currently have three spare indoor hutches should i need to quickly relocated them. This is not entirely practicle though as i prefer to keep my rabbits outdoors due to how many i have now.I can also relocate the females and give them the entire yard run rather than the large hutch where they are currently accomadated. This would give me an immediate need for only one hutch.

How can I set this up please in Ireland

I might sound daft but how do you go about starting an animal shelter? i live in a s,all village in the countryside and there is no animal shelter for miles. we think this is ridiculous however nobody is sure of where to ask for funding or land etc??? thanks xx

My neighbor and myself have been looking into ways to open a no-kill shelter in our area. Our county has no shelters here to help the community and we could really use one in our area. We are looking into grants to help us get started and find the right location, but we are just not sure what grants to apply for. Too many animals in our area are being neglected or dropped off and left to fend for themselves and I know a shelter would stop alot of this. Where we live we have had in the past year 19 dogs dropped off and 12 cats. We try to get each one spayed or neutered and find them homes but that is getting very expensive for us as individuals with so many drop offs. Any help on how to get a shelter started would be greatly appreciated.

would love to be able to take animals in on a rescue,or aboption base, we have 13 acres in field, so have plenty of room, but not sure how to get any if_ help with the feeding,etc,
we already have taken in some animals, and have 2 shetlands coming in a week or two, any suggestions would be gratefully received
