I have a slight stigmitism in my left eye. Although it’s not too noticable, it’s annoying in pictures.

How I did it: it was quite simple; i wasn't in the least bit scared and came out feeling like i had just been given new eyes - it is a truly wonderful feeling. &n… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I transferred my bonus to my Health Spending Account (HSA) through my benefits, financed the whole cost and now I am just waiting for my check from Sunlife to pay towards the financed amount. The remaining balance is only $1700. Well worth every penny. I just went to my one month follow-up today, and everything looks great (literally!) Read how I did it…
Threetimesthree hanging by a thread but working at it
How I did it: Talked to people who had had it done and asked about their experience : how the operation itself went, their own recuperation time, perceived improvement and the clinic they choose. Then, visited the two main clinics in my city that were recommended, and made a choice based on the technology used and overall impression of the clinic. This is how I it went for me. Of course, these will change depending on your own doctor's indications and yo… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I contacted Ultralase, who sent me to a consultation. After this I was booked in for surgery within the next couple of weeks!I was very nervous about the procedure when I arrived but went through with it despite the nerves - the surgery is painless but it hurts quite a bit for a few hours when the anaestetic wears off!I'm using eye drops now, which I need to take for a few weeks - plus I have to wear these weird eye patches when I go to s… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I waited until I was too old to fly for the military before seriously pursuing this, as laser eye surgery disqualifies you for flight status. In the meantime, I hoped a different procedure would be developed, or laser eye surgery no longer was a disqualifying factor.Once my age disqualified me from flying, I pursued laser eye surgery seriously, and my vision problems cannot be corrected by laser eye surgery, so I did not complete this goal. I’m booked and ready. May 1st is the day! Very excited. Very satisfied with the knowledge and experience of the clinic I chose: Yonge & Eglinton Laser Clinic in Toronto.

I seen this advertised for £1,000 for both eyes, I’ve also seen it on tv for over £4,000 for both eyes. I reckon somewhere in the middle is best.

I’m going to schedule this to be done where my parents got theirs done. Maybe a couple months down the road around my b-day? It’d be nice to have crisp vision without having to do anything… just wake up and you’re good to go.
I have $10 saved. I just have to stop myself from digging into it when I need cash.
CookieRa Hmmm . . What to do, what to do . . .
I’ve pretty bad astigmatism in both eyes and have been wearing glasses since I was 7. I actually kinda like wearing glasses as another part of my wardrobe but for practical reasons I’m just sick of having crappy eyesight. Astigmatism means the lens in my eye is out of shape so, regardless of distance, everything is just blurry – or at least in soft focus =) My lenses have always been pretty thick too so easing the pressure on my poor nose would be a good thing too.
