I am not giving up, but until I have my real “15 Minutes” of fame (all at one time), I am going to record my “mini minutes (or seconds)” of fame.
Seconds 5 & 10
Our restaurant participated in the “Taste of Petaluma”, an event where people buy tickets and take them to select restaurants for samplers from their menu. Sugo Trattoria, our restaurant, made Eggplant Two Ways; Eggplant Caponata on crostini and Eggplant, Walnut, Goat Cheese ravioli. Yum! The photo was taken by a local photographer and featured on our hometown website www.petaluma360.com. Woohoo!! That should be good for at least 5 seconds.
The next 5 seconds was a video shot by Mix It Up magazine. Sugo Trattoria is going to be featured in their next magazine, unfortunately they don’t have the funds to print it yet! Though, they did come by and shoot this low budget video on YouTube.
Wow…10 seconds closer to fame! HAHA
The Countdown
Minutes of Fame: 15
Time Completed: 10 seconds (14 minutes, 50 seconds to go)

RobRotterdam is enjoying the weather and decluttering the house
Two weeks ago I was interviewed by a local newspaper about my website http://gayinfo.tripod.com/ , which also lead to an interview on a local radio station. I consider it just the start of my 15 minutes of fame.

Ha ha, what a silly goal!!
I’ve never had it as a goal, but I came across it & saw I’ve done it already! ;)
Locally, that is!
I was at a quiz show on TV years ago (we won!)
& on cable TV this last year…
I was quite terrified immediately before both of those, but both turned out survivable!
& my neighbours in the dorm called me ‘movie star’ then for a week!! Ha ha (I actually thought noone would see that…)
Fame as such is fleeting – but I would love to help people make a difference in their lives for the better & get insanely rich doing it!! Now that would be a goal!!
Anyway, isn’t everyone famous in a way already? Like the local butcher, or the teacher (definitely famous – in a good or bad way…), or that friendly salesgirl in Walmart… everyone has a reputation among their relatives & friends… & can be either a good or bad example ;)
You can be famous for a good or bad thing!! & even if you don’t desire fame as such at all!!

Better to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
Besides, fame is fleeting, of no practical use, and rarely as much fun as being infamous :>

last January, I had the crazy chance to be on the Oprah show, it was the one about the Secret, it was a great experience, and still I have people coming into the store where I work asking me about it. It was fun. A little vulnerable, because it was all about my personal life, but still worth it.

Are you making a movie? Are you short on actors? Why don’t you hire me? Help me achieve this goal and let me be in your movie. I can’t Sing! I can’t Dance! I have no dress sense and my personal hygiene is questionable!
So if you want this hunk of an actor to be in your movie (hunk? lol!) let me know. I work for peanuts!
