    Untitled 10 months ago

Thanks to the whirlwind that was last semester, I recieved “The Fall” (effing FANTASTIC,by the way!) in early september and didn’t send it back out until late december. I recieved “A Woman Is A Woman” (also wonderful, but the disc was scratched so the last 10 minutes or so were a bit jumpy :( ) and managed to get it back out within a cople of days,”Grace Is Gone” is on its way to me now :)

I signed up for netflix, thinking that the process would make going out and getting DVD’s easier. I’m a big fan of the Weeds, and its taken me almost 6-8 months to get through the 2nd and third season..sigh

Making the most of it 17 months ago

I had over 100 discs in my queue until just about a month ago… so the time from when they were added until the time i saw them was several months, that was bad. Now I’m whipping through the streamable ones, getting the discs mailed back fast (usually the same day) and soon (hopefully) I will be able to watch movies as I find them.

I've been really good... 2 years ago

I’m remembering to put the DVDs in the car as soon as I’m done watching them, so it only takes a day or two before they make the post office. It’s much nicer, because now I know that if I haven’t gotten any new DVDs, it’s because I haven’t watched the ones I have yet.

    Getting better 2 years ago

I’m at about a week turnaround now, which is way better than the 2 months I had before…

I shared it! My girlfriend gets one at a time, and I get two, and we usually have movies to watch, and we usually watch them fairly quickly.

I cancelled it because I wasn’t using it.

I don’t have cable or any other channels, so I only watch dvd’s. I also like the blockbuster online service as you get a weekly free in store rental coupon.

I finally have been using my subscription enough to justify calling this goal achieved. I still have over one hundred movies on my list there that I want to watch… but at two a week like I have been, that will only take another year!

I recently downgraded to the two-at-a-time membership from three. Since at most I watch one a day (and it’s normally every couple days), I figured that saving the extra couple bucks was worth it.

    7 at-a-time 3 years ago

There was a time where I was up to the 7 at-a-time membership. Being able to watch movies at work, I was putting away about 10-12 per week. I think after a while, they started slowing my turnaround down. But I sure as HELL got my money’s worth.
