How I did it: Reaching my goal took dedication, discipline, a lot of hard work and long nights. I tried really hard not to procrastinate, even with those subjects that I did not particularly enjoy. I developed really good study habits and found out what worked for me and what didn't (everyone is different). Sometimes it took a lot of discipline (ie studying on a Friday night instead of hanging out with friends). However, if you're truly motivated to do… Read how I did it…
How I did it: study, study, study. and it was way wrong but writing notes for my spanish test on my hand helped trumendously. i read assigned passages twice to make sure i got as much info as possible, made flashcards with spanish vocab. took nots in class then coppied them again and studied them. sit up front, your friends will still sit by you but with being so close to the teacher they wont talk as much in risk of getting in trouble. i came up from a … Read how I did it…

How I did it: 1) I wrote all my work in an agenda.2) I would do my work as early as possible, and use hidden moments if necessary.3) I studied using flash cards.4) I wrote and re-wrote papers. If anyone wants any one-on-one help, they can email me at middens.is.hott@gmail.com Read how I did it…
How I did it: Yes! Got it up to a 3.5! :) so happy about that, lets see it took working on my classes and making good grades. haha, easy solution, no? But makes me happy, because even though I have 20 hours every semester these past few times, I brought it up and hope to keep it up even with 20 hours. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I was going to pledge a sorority and needed to raise my GPA before doing so. At first, I was really excited to join. As time grew and the sisters waited for my GPA to rise, I realized that I didn't want to pledge anymore, and I started raising my grades and caring more about classes for myself instead of for someone else. Now, my GPA continues to go up with each quarter, and my college career seems to be more satisfying because of it. I defenitly need to step it up in this area. I haven’t paid much attention to school work, but today I will push myself to get my math homework done and accurate. I know it’s all about determination!
Tomorow I plan on studying and getting some homework done. My only problem is motivation. If I can look past that I know I will do well just like I have before.
Right now my gps is around 3.4. I’m know i’m smart and can do a lot better as long as I stop procrastinating.
cincibohemian94 Typing this one a big crazy computer in TimeWarner store! I am cool :)
Well, I should probably figure out what it currently is, but you understand. You see being in tenth grade, this is incredibly important. I want to get into a good college, get a good education, and follow my dreams. Not that my GPA is crashing, but if I can do better, I should.
xoxoxo will get through the day.
Got my official gpa numbers a few days back for the two subjects I took in the short semester. Got an A- and a B+! I am actually really happy with my results because I worked really hard for them and it’s paying off. The 3.63 from the semester raised my cgpa from a 3.07/4.00 to 3.17/4.00. Wished it was higher but I am still glad there is an increase in my gpa pattern and overall, my grades are going up.
Am taking 4 heavy subjects this semester. Hope I’ll do well.

I attended a junior college where i graduated with my AA. I was able to maintain a nice 3.0, not perfect but nice. I lived with my parents and kept my weeked job. After making a transfer to a 4 year school my gpa began to fall. I started spending time with friends and got into a relationship , school started taking the backseat to other social events. My nice 3.0 plummeted to a pathetic 2.1. So i freaked, I took some summer classes and worked harder this last semester enough to bring my gpa up to a 2.4, but still not good enough for grad school. I have 3 classes left to take that i have to, and i am going to take a few more electives to raise my gpa, as well as retake a few classes i performed poorly in. All a big pain because i chose to goof off. I just hope i can do enough to get into a graduate program.
My gpa is at 2.287 (after I took 2 summer classes and got A’s) due to medical circumstances . It’s temporary since I will be getting late withdrawals for last semester. However, I NEED to do well this coming semester.
I have a 3.27 gpa. Last year this time it was 3.66. I’d love to get it back up to where it was or even higher!
So my goal this semester will be a 4.0! :D
I’m excited!

wooleyduck asks,
“If I make a C in a (institutional/developmental) class but then I retake the class - does my GPA reflect ONLY the 2nd grade, or do both grades count towards my final GPA? and how do dropped classes affect it?”
