I always put things off until the next day..which turns into the next day and so on. I have found a routine that has helped me break from that a bit. Every day I make a list of what I have to have done. I do as many things on my list as I can in an hour. Each day I try to beat my number of tasks accomplished. It works for me!

I keep putting things off till the last minute. Some times I dont even get things done because Ive put it off for too long and then its too late! For example, this past year I didnt buy Christmas cards till Dec 23rd and then it was too late to send them. Sure I handed a few out to people I saw in person, but I didnt do as much as I wanted to!
Anyhow, when I make lists I do better and get things done. I dont forget them as much. Ive taken a calendar and stapled a piece of paper to each month and listed what I want to get done in that month. As I complete the task, it gets crossed off! For example, for April I have plan a garden. May I have get plants/seeds planted for veggie garden! June I have get annuals and plant flowers! Usually I put it off for so long its July or August before I start thinking of things and its too late to do anything! At least having it planned ahead of time will get me thinking and hopefully planning and getting it done on time!
