I’ve already made a batch of raspberry-pear jam and ginger pear marmalade as well as a very small batch of grapefruit marmalade. This is still on my “to-do” as I still want to make more.
I’m really looking forward to creating labels for the jars… I think that’s one of the most thrilling things as a graphic designer to do. 4 years ago

we have three apple trees in our backyard and i am looking for a way to preserve the apples for use later in the colder months. i know of apple jelly, jam, preserves, and applesauce – but I don’t know how to make any of them. I will get around to learning though. 4 years ago

The only other thing I might be able to do this year is rosehip syrup if I can get some rosehips :o) 5 years ago

I made a second batch. Hard work skinning them but the end result is yummy and looks great. They would make a great Halloween gift with a label saying “rat brains” on them ;o)
Finally got some more jars donated so I’ll have to see if the remaining quinces are still usable. 5 years ago
