see a badger

I saw one in my garden a couple of days ago. I heard a weird noise in the middle of the night and I shone a torch out the window, expecting to see a cat or a fox. Instead I saw this huge creature, which caused me to leap back and exclaim something very rude!

Once I got over the initial shock it was pretty cool to see.

I’ve never seen a real live badger – not even in a zoo…
