I think I was the happiest when I was doing hair, but the money sucked. Now the money is good, but I hate working in an office.

2. part time, only 2 days a week
3. is fun and/or fulfilling
I applied for an amazing job,
It is would be an excellent stepping stone for my career, and has a starting wage that I have NEVER been paid before,
I wrote a kickass cover letter and updated my resume, here’s hoping for an interview.
...who doesn’t want to do this?
I’m probably one year from graduating, and haven’t really had real jobs yet. But as my financial situation is far from ideal I really need to find a job, and I would really like this job to be a start in some direction. Not just working shifts at TNT or cleaning offices, but a part-time job with some intellectual content. Maybe I’m asking to much, but many of my frieds seem to be able to find something at least in the right direction; administrative jobs at the university, working in an archive, a library… I would do anything for a job like that.
Uhm, well, actually, I wouldn’t. And that’s probably the whole problem. I’m not the kind of person ‘who works the system’, to talk myself in somewhere. I’m not very charismatic, rather shy even, in the beginning. I just don’t know how to sell myself. But sure there must be more people like me who dÃd get into nice jobs? How did they do it, I wonder…
I’m not sure if I want to be a teacher, go into publishing, or do something else with my life, as long as it makes me happy and keeps me going, that’s all that matters.
Worth doing!
I didn’t get a new job, just had an opportunity to take a promotion. It got me out of my rut and forced me to grow and learn. The challenges have been just what I needed, and I like my daily work more now.
aileensiu did 3 things on her list already.. woohoo
Worth doing!
came to realize that this “job” is actually not a real job but just to spend more time with my boyfriend, 2 lovely doggies and my dearest mom. Work is only part of your life – look at your job from a different angle and you’ll see it more lightly.
Every job is the same. Bloom will eventually come to its end. Just like flowers, you bloom (you learn), once you’re in full bloom shape, you’ll have to start learning the things around you and to work as a team. If you have already reached your full bloom stage, try to help others “bloom”. This way you will be able to teach and learn at the same time. Learning is forever.

Worth doing!
I think every job will have something wrong with it. Instead of spending a lot of my energy on finding that dream job, I decided to focus on building good skills.
