start my own craft business

... and starting a non-profit that incorporates crafting…

Now I’m working on a business plan, creating brochures/ads, scouting farmers markets and creating a “prototype” of the craft I will be selling…

I’d like to copyright the name I’ve come up with so I’ll be looking into that as well. I think selling my creations and then hosting workshops where people can create their own would be exciting and profitable.

Of course it will all depend on whether people are interested and willing to drop $10-$20.

I can sew a bit and have made handbags, cushions and stuff. I’m into making things I can’t afford to buy! (see my site; http://emptypurse.wordpress.com/ )

This year I’m going to learn knitting and crochet, am taking an art class and plan to make A LOT of things that I’ve never made before!

Eventually when I believe I’m good enough I’m gonna sell stuff on Etsy and at craft fairs and maybe in shops. And I’m gonna have a craft blog too :)
