have an earth-shattering kiss

we’ve been dating quite some time now, and we must kiss 50 times a day, haha, but every now and again we have this unbelievable, honest to God EARTH-shattering kiss.. and it blows me away. It all starts with an amazing moment, or day.. like spending the day at my dads house, watching him play with my little sister.. and catching his eye and feeling butterflies.. like falling in love again. Then being alone, looking at one another and without a word, holding each other close.. and BAM perfect kiss. Haha :)

only once, on a park bench in Bristol, SW England. It will probably be the thing that I remember when I die for it was ‘heavenly’. The whole of my inner-being opened up and I saw the vault of the universe dotted with stars. It was all those things that you want to say; earth-shattering, life-altering, consummate bliss.

Eventually, he did call me: as it seems he’d love to see me again, and so would I!!! A meeting between the two of us is not that easy since he lives 4 hours’ drive from here and we are both very busy (him, enjoying his life to the fullest; me, working). He said he might come and visit me in a couple of weeks’ time and then I could possibly join him on a short trip to his university town. Wouldn’t that be lovely? I’m all smile!!! I know perfectly well that he’s not the man of my life (he’s 10 years my junior) but it is so nice he wants to be with me me again, and maybe he will :)

Last week, at sunset on a desert beach, just the two of us. It was so cold and windy and we had been swimming for quite a long time so we were all trembling. We lied down on the sand, he hugged me from behind to keep me warm, I turned around, he kissed me. It was so perfect, I wish time had stopped at that moment.
Later that night he made love to me…until dawn. I hardly knew him but it really felt like it was love he was giving me.
I must have been mistaken though because I haven’t heard from him since. I wonder why… is it possible that what felt wonderful to me was just ordinary to him? How’s that so?...I feel lonely now and saddened by his silence. I’m still waiting for him to come back…who knows…maybe he will…Haven’t I got the right to hope, at least??

...but oh, how it still haunts me!

I invited an ex over with the intention of winning him back before I had to leave for a few months. I put our song on the stereo and wrapped my arms around him and we sat like that for a few minutes. He kissed my shoulder so softly and slowly that I literally lost my breath. I still get chills just thinking about it.

The first kiss with the man I eventually married was earth shattering. Most amazing kiss of my life and I had already had some terrific kisses.

We have been married for 14 years and still talk about that amazing first kiss. And… luckily for us… we still have many earth-shattering kisses! But that first one… WOW!

thunderbolt and fireworkx…..I never wanted it to stop…it’s like being in a trance-like place…...

I love feeling that tingling everywhere and being breathless once you part and never wanting it to end.
