learn a lesson the hard way

This is the only way I learn.

I didn’t have much adult guidance through my teen years so I made many bad choices. I learned from those choices and I think through my experiences it has enabled me to recognize certain behaviors in my own teenager. All in all this has made me a better person.

probably too many times! If the school of hard knocks gave degrees, I’d have the Ph.D. in dopey but much smarter now!

Having sex with an ex got my fingers burnt won’t be doing that again.

I will never ever forget but I do wish I didn’t have to learn it in such a hard way!

I went back to my abusive husband when I found out I was pregnant. He said he had changed. for about 2 months he was perfect. then one night he went off BIG time and beat me senseless and killed the baby. And ended my chances of ever having another child. So that is a lesson I learned that I would much have much rather skipped.
