win a cooking contest

I won a chili cook off at my son’s Blue / Gold Banquet.

It was fun. There were around 10 entries.

i won a cooking contest when i was in fourth year highschool. category is meat. contestants were in groups of three. our opponents made usual main dishes, but ours was a simple but well-garnished skinless longanisas. we made the longanisas (we didn’t buy the finished product! hehehe) by getting its ingredients, cooked it and prepare its to be presented to the judges.

I cook all the time, and I have some ideas I want to try out. A few companies even pay an award. It sounds easier than it is, I have a lot of work to do. There is one deadline mid-August and I have a few days off to try out my ideas.
