get veneers

I got the pricing for veneers on Monday when I got two of my fillings done.

$6,000 and if I get all six teeth done at one time, my dentist said she would knock of $600. So now I’m looking at $5,400 and my insurance doesn’t cover a thing. I’m going to have to do some saving for this. Maybe this is something to do in 2010 when I get rid of my hefty ass car payment.

I have some other work to get done before I can get veneers. Crowns are expensive as hell, so I guess veneers are on my 2010 plan.

A career with benefits will finally give me the smile I’ve wanted for a while.

I’m calling the dentist to make an appointment tomorrow. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get in sometime next week.

my teeth are just fine

I’ve had bad teeth as long as I can remember. I have fangs. My teeth seem to be permanently yellow, crooked and prone to chipping – all things which I’ve heard veneers can fix beautifully.

I’m going to ask my dentist at my next appointment if he thinks they are appropriate for me or not.

This is a long term goal for me as they are quite pricey ($1000 per tooth!). However, both my husband and I would like to get them so we are both starting savings accounts to make it happen.

He’s from Mexico and his family knows some great dentists down there, so we are going to take advantage of geoarbitrage. That will cut the price nearly in half despite having to pay to fly down there. I’m so excited!

I’ve just come back from my appointment.

The dentist has persuaded me to try teeth whitening first before going for veneers. However, the price is a staggering £2820 just for the whitening. Wow.

Time to get saving methinks.

Appointment moved (by them) to the 9th. Grrr.

I’ve got a dental appointment booked for the 26th, so i’ll mention this to the dentist then.

to see the dentist on Friday. Really top London dentist that specialises in cosmetic dentistry. Wonder what they will recommend.

I am so unhappy with my teeth. I’ve had so much work done and gone through so much pain for absolutely nothing.

I have no insurance but I’m determined to get veneers because I refuse to go through braces or any other oral surgery ever again.

I wish this wasn’t such a hard goal to reach.
