Monica03 is feeling bleh but good
Considering the fact that I do not own a microwave, I think I’ll pass on this goal for now :P

Des is slowly regaining her sanity (unfortunately?)
...within the next couple of days, I’m going to put it on hold. I just don’t remember to do this when the kids are around, even when it’s on my list and sending reminders.
it was pretty boring and nothing much happened other than the grape got hot and i nearly burnt my fingers. It also developed a funny smell but i wasnt brave enough to see what it tasted like.
It fizzed and made a mess but nothing else. Due to old microwave with brown glass i could hardly see the damn thing anyway.
I’ve done this! And it did too completely flare up in the microwave. Why on earth does the grape do this? There’s nothing metal in it to cause sparkling like when you microwave a CD…
I’d never heard the microwave a grape stories before, so when I found this goal I figured I’d better check it out… Never are grapes more readily available than in a South African summer, after all. So anyway, I chucked it in for 20 seconds (after cutting it open) and it just kinda hissed and puddled everywhere. Sigh. What a letdown.
I used to do that often when I was in college. Just be sure to do it in a room that can be easily ventilated as it also produces a lot of smoke.
If my friend asks, no I didn’t use his microwave – or his grape! It didn’t do anything though, just hissed and danced. Kinda fun, but not worth repeating. :3
It’s great fun! It works best if you slice the grape almost in half, leaving only the skin joining the two halves of the grape. It then sparks between the two halves.. it’s fantastic :-D
CD’s are also fun, although apparently the fumes it gives off are toxic..
