Learn to play the irish flute

Talked to a gal who plays the Irish Flute with the style/sound I hope to play. Got a recommendation on a flute and hope to pick it up soon. Also found some online lessons to get me started as I have been unable to locate an instructor locally.

Researched for instrument purchase and bought instructional materials.

Before I invested tons of $$ in a beautiful wooden flute, I decided to start with a cheapy PVC flute. My son bought it for me for Christmas. I have been sick with a bad cold, so I haven’t had a chance to goof around with it too much. While I do play the boehm style flute, I think this one will take more than I thought to get used to. We’ll see.
