Today I used the elliptical for the first time in longer than I care to remember. It pretty much sucked.
“I Turn My Camera On” by Spoon is an awesome workout song. So is “Misery Is the River of the World” by Tom Waits.
I missed an entire week because of a cold that just wouldn’t quit. Got back on yesterday, and even though I had to go more slowly than usual (was still congested) it wasn’t as hard as I’d feared. Am planning to work out after dinner tonight.
...until I started getting sick yesterday afternoon. No workout yesterday, and no workout likely today. Maybe Thursday.
I’ve been averaging about three times per week on the elliptical machine for the past three weeks or so. It’s amazing how much better I feel already. More energy, less out-of-breathness when I climb six flights of stairs in the parking garage at work!
