learned swimming with them can be dangerous for manatees, but i went on a long search and ended up seeing one on my last night in tampa, FL. he breeched right in front of my condo balcony, that was perfect! 2 days ago

What an amazing day on the river just outside of Tallahassee. We paddleboarded down to a small cove where at least 8 manatees were hanging out! It was so soooo amazing! They swam up and nudged our paddle boards with their noses and were playing with us :) When I touched one of them, I was surprised at how rough their skin felt! (I guess I was expecting them to be slimy.) They hung around until we decided to head back up the river which was a long time because we were in awe.. we made new friends.. hahaha! It was an incredible experience that I’ll never forget.

I have since come to the conclusion that I am in need of a waterproof camera! 7 months ago

Swam with the manatees in Crystal River in Florida, this was one of the best experiences of my whole life, amazing, anyone who gets the chance to do this shouldnt miss it 15 months ago

If you have the right kind of boat motors, the manatees won’t be hurt! I’m a big fan of of protecting animals and I think this is one of the best ways to do so. 17 months ago
