save an animal's life

my grandmother had a very sick chicken and she wanted to kill the chicken and eat for soup. But I forced the chicken to eat and put aside from the others, so finally it became healthy again.
But my guilt is, that I had a rabbit, and when we went for holiday I gave it to an arab man, he promised he will take good care for him, but when we came back he said the rabbit escaped. But what we think happened is that he ate him. :(
Anyway, as I will have a settled life, I’m going to bring dogs from shelters, so hopefully I can save some lifes.

i saved a pigeon hehe

Our current cat was only about a month old, abondoned by her mother, eye infected, headed for the pound and euthanasia when we rescued her from friends set on letting her die.

We fed her day and night with orphan kitten milk replacement and Gerber ground turkey and were finally rewarded by her return to life.

She attached herself to my husband and son for her first four years and when son went to college, she finally deigned to sit in my lap where she has remained ever since then.

Orphan kittens, baby bunnies and cats that would have spent their days at an animal shelter have all been taken in and loved by me ever since I was a small child. I’m sure I’ll keep doing it for many years to come, because nothing is more rewarding than knowing I’ve saved a life and made a difference….

A few minutes ago, I saved a field mouse from my cat’s evil grasps and let him off in a field near my house.

while we were driving past eastern express highway my brother saved this tiny kitten who was struggling to cross such a busy highway . I don’t know how it got there right at the middle but we knew for sure had we ignored it, it would have got run over and smashed by some vehicle.

Yay me!

My friend and I recently found 4 baby raccoons on the side of the road. They were screeching and bleeding and their eyes werent even open yet. We gave them to animal rescue or something like that and she called back and said we saved them. It was a really good feeling.
