Become a massage therapist.

I’m not too sure if I reaaaaaaallly want to pursue this anymore. I don’t want to remove it though, because it’s not a definite “no”. Maybe later in life, but right now it is not the time for me. I am going to focus on esthetician school now.

today i had aromatherapy. it was a great class and i learned a lot that i will be taking into my practice. i will for sure be taking a few more class in aromatherapy. if pur going to do massage your should for user take at least one class in this

For the past month or so, I have had an interest in becoming a Massage Therapist.I always give my boyfriend massages and he always asks for more.lol.

I have picked the nearest massage school and asked for a brochure.They send me one the very next day. Very Impressed. I am saving up 12 thousand dollars to hopefully attend in 2011.

Some day I would like to do this year long program of doing spa therapy work. I can make friends with the massage therapists and we can practice on each other.

I just want to do this as a side hobby job scheduled around a 9-5 schedule.

The training for the program in Seattle is 6-10:30 PM.

The cost of training will be worth it to me. It’s a little over 1000 per month for all of the added costs.

3 assignments submitted – 100% each!!!!

Anatomy and physiology is kicking my butt though! But I am proud. I’m going to use the next 6 weeks to work through as much as I can so that I can relax a bit more during the year.

I’m doing this by distance education and its hard to stay motivated and find time..but my first module came back and I got 100% – yay great start!

I am graduating in 2 days!! I have already started sending my resume out, I’m so excited. Only problem is I often get sharp pains in my wrist and I found out i have a dislocation, I am worried it will hinder my ability to work now. I am getting physio which is helping though

Yikes!!! Two freaking boxes of paperwork turned up to my house today!!!! There is no getting out of this now – and I am absolutely petrified!! I have talked about a new beginning for sooo long. And I will do this, and I will do it well. But that doesn’t mean I am trapped like I have been in my current job…don’t panic!

I have always liked the idea of doing this…this or floristry…but right now it feels like a good physical, useful, healthy job. I need to get out of the office…my current job is really and truly killing me…so I have enrolled to do a massage therapy course!!!! I can’t believe after all of this time I actually have the balls to put my money where my mouth is…wish me luck!!!

After 18 months of working and schooling, I’m finally about done with my formal studies. Won’t be able to take licensing exam until January, but at least all the school work is done.
